| Description : | It is a beautiful mountain home with two rental suites with private entrances. Dogs are welcomed with cookies, water bowls, and dog beds. Dog sitter and doggie day camp numbers are provided. Each room has a king bed,efficiency kitchen, and bath with fine hotel amenities. Just outside the door is a wonderful hiking path where dogs can run off-leash and swim in the river. Tons of nearby hiking paths (leash-free), dog beaches (leash-free),mountain bike trails (leash-free) cross-country ski trails (leash-free), and many restaurants welcoming dogs. Tahoe City is very dog friendly, but we are the only lodging between Tahoe City and Squaw Valley that allows dogs. We are so excited, as are our own two goldens who love to frolic with new friends.
